The first known African American master distiller, Nearest Green. Nose: Honey, brown sugar, cedar, orange peel and tobacco flower, ground ginger and white pepper. Palate: Caramel and spicy wood tannins. Notes of chocolate, cigar leaf, and cinnamon. Finish: The cinnamon lingers with dark chocolate, oak tannins and maple syrup. 93 proof.
