The story of Perdomo begins in Cuba, where Silvio Perdomo worked in legendary factories like H. Upmann and Partagás in the early 20th century. His passion and knowledge were passed on to his son, Nick Perdomo Sr., who also became an accomplished cigar maker. However, it was Nick Perdomo Jr., the third generation, who would bring the family legacy to life in Nicaragua after founding Tabacalera Perdomo in the 1990s.
What started as a small operation quickly grew into one of the most respected vertically integrated cigar companies in the world—controlling every step of the process, from seed to smoke.

Perdomo Cigars are not mass-produced; they are meticulously crafted with a level of detail that ensures consistency in every draw. The company grows its own tobacco in Nicaragua's three richest regions—Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa—each known for producing distinctive flavors and textures.
One of Perdomo's greatest commitments is to aging and fermentation. Tobacco leaves used in their premium lines are often aged for more than six years, with some wrappers being bourbon-barrel aged to enhance complexity and richness.
